Brielle’s Story

Just a few months ago, Brielle walked into Gateway Women’s Care. She was 20 weeks pregnant and determined to have an abortion. She was overwhelmed and deeply afraid. The thought of giving birth terrified her. She couldn’t see how motherhood could possibly fit into her life. Her husband wanted the baby, but Brielle felt paralyzed by fear, pressure, and uncertainty.

Still, she came to us. And we stayed with her.

Through hours of conversations, phone calls, texts, ultrasounds, and prayer, our team walked alongside Brielle in her most vulnerable moments. We simply listened, encouraged, and reminded her she wasn’t alone.

Slowly, her heart began to soften. Brielle tentatively chose to continue her pregnancy. But shortly after, she and her husband relocated to a state where abortion is legal all the way up to birth. We didn’t know what would happen.

Then out of the blue, the phone rang! Her voice was full of joy. She shared that she had just given birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl.
